Close to 200 bikes destroyed in fire at Shadnagar bus-stop On receiving a call to the fire control room around 5.30 p.m., a fire tender from Shadnagar rushed to the spot and doused the flames. Hyderabad: Close to 200 motorcycles parked near a bus-stop in Shadnagar were gutted in a fire accident here on Saturday evening. Staff of the Electricity department were trying to remove iron pipes that were put around a defunct transformer using a gas welding machine when sparks from the machine fell on a shed made with dry palm leaves. This blew up in a major blaze, spreading fast enough to reduce the motorbikes parked near the shed to mere metal frames.
